China Trader Online runs the sourcing and supply chain side of an import order from Shenzhen: finding the factory, confirming the specification, checking the goods, printing the logo, packing the carton and getting the shipment to your door. You can use the whole service or just the part you need.

Sourcing and purchasing

Send a product description, a reference sample or a link, and we will match it to factories that already make that category rather than starting from a directory. We compare quotations on the same specification, confirm what is included in the price, and quote ex-works so you can see the factory cost separately from freight. If a product does not exist yet, our engineering team works from your drawing or reference sample to develop it.

Quality control and inspection

Inspection is built into the order rather than added at the end. Incoming material is checked before production, work in progress is checked at the main assembly steps, and finished goods are sampled to the AQL system before packing. The report lists what was measured, not just pass or fail: dimensions, colour against the approved standard, print position, function tests where relevant, and carton weight. Third-party inspection is welcome, and we will hold the goods until your inspector has seen them.

OEM and ODM development

Our engineering team handles both routes: OEM when you bring a finished design and need it made, ODM when you need a product developed from a concept. Drawings and artwork are worked in Pro/E, AutoCAD, Photoshop and CorelDRAW, and you receive a dimensioned drawing and a rendering before tools or moulds are cut. Tooling cost, tooling ownership and lead time are confirmed in writing before the project starts.

Logo printing and custom packaging

• Printing — silk screen, pad printing, heat transfer, laser engraving and embroidery. Silk screen starts at 500 units per logo, and the exact minimum depends on the product and the number of colours.
• Artwork — send AI, EPS, PDF or TIFF at 300 dpi, with fonts outlined or supplied. We return a digital proof for approval before production.
• Packaging — poly bag, printed carton, gift box, blister card or private-label build. Custom-designed packaging starts at 5,000 units per model.
• Pre-production sample — a sample made to your specification settles the material, the print position and the packing before bulk starts, and becomes the reference for inspection.

Fulfilment and logistics

We consolidate orders from several factories into one shipment, arrange sea, air or courier transport, and handle FCL bookings as well as LCL consolidation out of Hong Kong and the main ports of mainland China. Export documents, packing lists and shipping marks are prepared to your format, and you can nominate your own forwarder if you prefer. Cartons can be packed for a specific retail or warehouse requirement — inserts, bar codes, hang tags and mixed cartons included.

After-sales

One department handles everything after dispatch: delivery follow-up, tracking, short-shipment claims, quality claims and returns. Products carry a warranty of 6 to 12 months depending on the item, with free replacement for unqualified goods during that period. Claims are answered with the inspection record for the batch, so the conversation starts from evidence rather than opinion.
