Free Samples

Samples are how a specification gets settled, so we keep the process simple and cheap. We supply samples free of charge when the items are in stock and the total sample value is under 5 US dollars, provided you have a DHL or UPS account (or another courier account that allows freight collect) and agree to pay the courier freight. We reserve the right to decline free samples at our discretion.

When the sample value is above 5 US dollars

We ask you to pay for the samples and the courier freight, and we dispatch after your payment is received. If you do not have a courier account, you can send your own courier to collect from our office, or send the sample charge together with the freight by T/T. In every case we confirm the sample cost, the freight and the dispatch date in writing before anything leaves the building.

What the sample tells you

A sample is not only a look at the product. It settles the material and finish, the colour against your reference, the dimensions and weight that drive freight, the print position and the packing method. Once you approve a sample, it becomes the reference the production batch is inspected against, which is why we ask for approval in writing rather than by conversation.

Free virtual proof with your artwork

Our artwork team prepares an electronic proof of your logo on the product and, if you want assistance, recommends the print method, the size and the placement. Proofs are e-mailed for review and usually travel with the order acknowledgment, so you see exactly how the item will look before production begins. Revisions are free until the proof is approved.

Pre-production samples for custom orders

When an order needs new tooling, a custom colour or a printed packaging design, we make a pre-production sample to your specification. It is charged at the sample price shown on the proforma invoice, and the charge is discussed against the bulk order rather than hidden in the unit price. Ask your sales specialist for the timing on the specific item.

Samples are requested through the customer service of your sales specialist — write to [email protected] with the item codes and quantities, and the freight will be quoted with the sample cost.
